Our Mission
Founded by Major League Baseball umpires in 2006, BLUE for Kids enriches the lives of at-risk youth and children coping with serious illness by providing memorable sports experiences, supporting pediatric medical care, and raising the awareness of foster care children waiting to be adopted.

BLUE Crew Tickets
BLUE for Kids administers a ticket program called BLUE Crew Tickets to benefit children in foster care and children in mentoring programs.  Umpires provide kids with free tickets to the baseball game and many of the children experience the thrill of stepping onto the field for a souvenir baseball and photo near home plate.  more

Big League BLUE Reach
Big League BLUE Reach, the BLUE for Kids children’s hospital program, is a fun and interactive event designed to reduce the stress that a family experiences when a child is hospitalized.  Big League BLUE Reach captures the spirit of the Build-A-Bear Workshop in-store experience and brings it into pediatric patient rooms. more
