Last Inning Thriller in New York
Big Brother Mark Vitelli and Troy from Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City were my guests and witnessed a come from behind victory by the home team Mets. Final score Mets 3 Marlins 2.
It took until the 6th inning for either team to dent the scoreboard with the Marlins getting two runs on a Josh Willingham double in the 6th. David Wright of the Mets then took matters into his own hands by driving in the team's 3 runs with a triple in the 7th inning that plated two runners and a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth to win the game.
To Mark and Troy...on occasion I am unable to meet up with guests before the game and unfortunately this weekend was one of those games. Samuel mentioned that he has your mailing address so I'll be sure to send a game ball in the mail within a week or so. I'm back in New York in August so perhaps we can meet then. Work that out with Samuel.
For me it's home to Atlanta for an off day today and then to Boston on Tuesday for their home opener against the Blue Jays. Minnesota is the next city for TICKETS FOR TWO. See you in Minnesota! - Marvin

Marvin -
Thanks for the tickets. It was a great first game of the season to attend, a great match up of top-of-the-line pitchers and a last at-bat win. Too bad we weren't able to meet up, but we were keeping an eye on your calls all day, even thoughwe never saw someone try to steal third. We really appreciated the tickets. I'll be sending Samuel a photo of from the game as soon as I get one developed - my camera is not quite up to blog-level technology.
Thanks again,
Mark Vitelli
