Two Matches See Win and One Sees History
On Saturday, May 27th, mentor Ellie Sadler and little sister Miriam joined mentor Patrick Earley and Treyon as Marvin's guests. Pedro Feliz belted a two-run triple in the fourth inning and the Giants beat the Rockies 4-1. Bonds went hitless but scored a run in the game. So our first two matches of the weekend got to see a Giants win.
On Sunday the 28th, Peter Rabover joined Liam (pictured with Mark at left) to see a bit of history as Barry Bonds passed Babe Ruth to claim sole possession of second place on the all-time home run list. Peter and Liam were guests of Mark Wegner for the history making game. The big home run was not enough for the Giants however as the Rockies won the game 6-3. Still, it's not every day that you witness baseball history.Peter, Ellie, and Patrick...BLUE for Kids wishes to thank you for all you do to give boys and girls a positive role model to look up to.
