Major and Minor League Umpires Set to Visit Children's Hospital of Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA, PA (May 9, 2008)—On May 14, Major League Baseball (MLB) Umpires Bob Davidson, Andy Fletcher, Alfonso Marquez, and Mike Reilly join with Minor League Baseball Umpires Damien Beal, Brian Kennedy, and Bobby Price for a visit with pediatric patients at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Organized by BLUE for Kids, they will offer words of encouragement and distribute Build-A-Bear Workshop® stuffed animals to children coping with serious illness.
