Bob Davidson is a native of Deluth, Minnesota and now resides in Colorado. He is married with two children and two granddaughters.
Davidson began his professional umpiring career in 1974. His MLB post-season and All-Star experience includes:

- 1995 and 1998 NL Division Series.

You seem very relaxed on the field. Always been that way?
No, at first I was scared to death, but when you have umpired as long as I have, eventually you feel at home.
Best line you've heard from a heckler? Well most of them you could not tell young people but I did laugh when a fan yelled "Hey Ump, shake yourself! Your eyes are stuck!"
