BLUE for Kids recognizes that mentoring makes a difference in the lives of young people. Under the guidance of a caring adult mentor, children are less likely to initiate drug use or act out in violent ways. At the same time, children benefit by improved academic performance and stronger relationships with family and friends.

We offer TICKETS FOR TWO in appreciation of those who take the time to be a friend and role model to our nation's kids. We hope that a shared experience at the ballpark helps strengthen the mentor/youth relationship.

TICKETS FOR TWO recipients receive:

  • a pair of tickets to a weekend baseball game,
  • an action 5x7 photograph of the umpire providing tickets,
  • an official MLB baseball autographed by the umpiring crew, and
  • an opportunity to meet the umpire before the game when possible.

Availability
TICKETS FOR TWO are available to agencies actively advancing the welfare of underprivileged children by way of one-to-one mentoring. Your nonprofit must be exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

BLUE
Chauncy (L) and Jim Nelson Jr. (R) take in a game at Chicago's U.S. Cellular Field. Jim and Chauncy are a mentor/youth match with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago.

"Chauncy and I LOVED the game. He must have pulled the baseball that you gave him out of his pocket four or five times during the game to look at it. The game was close and the White Sox came back to win it in the bottom of the 9th inning. He was high-fiving everyone!. Marvin, this was a GREAT experience! You put a smile on two faces all night and that is contagious! THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts."
